T. Hale Boggs
Hale is a partner with the law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillps. Hale founded the firm's Palo Alto office in 1998, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Business and Transactions Division nationwide. He also serves on the Firm's Compensation Committee and Board of Directors. Hale's practice focuses on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, public and private securities offerings, venture capital transactions and joint ventures. Hale's expertise includes venture capital and other equity and debt financings, equity compensation matters, SEC reporting and disclosure, intellectual property licensing, complex corporate partnering transactions and corporate governance. He also represents venture capital firms in fund formation and counseling matters, and underwriters in public offerings. He frequently assists clients in structuring creative arrangements to acquire, develop, protect and distribute technologies and products both domestically and internationally. Hale also represents a wide variety of financial institutions and financial services companies, including commercial banks and bank holding companies, savings associations, mortgage banking companies, and consumer and commercial finance companies. Hale has been selected by his peers to be listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" continuously since 2000.
Jon T. Iwatani
Jon is an Investment Manager at the Kamehameha Schools with primary responsibility for the Private Equity/Venture Capital portfolio and shared oversight of the Absolute Return portfolio at the $6.8 billion private educational endowment. The schools were established in 1887 at the bequest of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last royal descendant of King Kamehameha the Great, who united the Hawaiian Islands in a single kingdom in the early 1800s. Kamehameha presently enrolls over 6,000 students across three K-12 campuses and a network of preschools, making it the largest independent school in the United States. Before joining Kamehameha in 2001, Jon served as Assistant Treasurer and Manager, Corporate Finance and Cash Management for C. Brewer and Company, Limited, a diversified Hawaii-based holding company. Prior to that, Jon held positions at ARA Services in Philadelphia and Bank of Hawaii in Honolulu. Jon received a BBA with Distinction in Finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Maggie Radford
Maggie is CFO and COO for Bonanza Oil Company and the Leland Fikes Foundation. She is responsible for their investment, finance, accounting, personnel, information systems and administrative functions. Maggie's earlier background includes audit management and consulting experience with Deloitte and Touche as well as several years as Assistant Treasurer of Trammell Crow Company, one of the nation's largest real estate developers and asset managers. She has also worked as a volunteer for many years in adult literacy, domestic violence prevention and children's reading programs. Maggie graduated from Virginia Tech with a dual B.S. in Accounting and Economics as well as a Masters in Accounting.
G. Rainey Williams, Jr.
Rainey Williams, Jr. is President of Marco Holding Corporation, Oklahoma City. Marco is a private investment capital partnership with closely held investments in oil and gas, real estate, and venture capital. Mr. Williams is an experienced advisor to financial services and investment firms, serving on the boards of BancFirst Corporation, Benham Investment Holdings, and American Fidelity Variable Annuity Fund A. He has also held significant offices and/or board positions for numerous charitable organizations ranging from the United Way of Metro Oklahoma City to the YMCA Retirement Fund in New York. Rainey Williams earned a B.B.A. degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University and later a law degree from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Law.
